But if you're ready to go deeper....

Give Your Inner Critic A Vacation

Finally quiet the voice that holds you back
so you can write, speak, and create freely

"I came in thinking I knew my inner critic. I didn't."

Give Your Inner Critic A Vacation saw me more clearly than I saw myself. I thought I knew exactly how my inner critic showed up, but this course revealed it was operating in ways I hadn't even noticed. That alone was worth it.

What surprised me most was how safe I felt to actually go there. Elizabeth's warmth and humour come through the screen in a way that makes you want to open up, experiment, and try things you'd normally resist. I genuinely don't think I've ever spoken to myself so compassionately before.

And if you're worried this is just going to be toxic positivity — it's not. Elizabeth actually addresses how that approach can do more harm than good. This is the real work, held in a really warm space, that brings you back to your own voice and creativity.

- Frankie Jago

You don’t need to eliminate your inner critic.
You just need it to stop running the show.

BUT, right now....

  • You edit yourself when you write that screenplay.

  • You have something important to say, and you swallow it.

  • You aren't writing that monologue because it feels too big, too exposed.

  • You feel the pull to follow your heart—but the critic stops you.

  • You’ve had a vision for a business for 20 years… and it’s still waiting.

This isn't about becoming someone new.

It’s about finally feeling free to be who you already are—

WITHOUT that constant

second-guessing in the background.

Imagine if...

  • You could express yourself without overthinking every word

  • Your ideas flowed without being shut down

  • You trusted your voice – even if it wasn't perfect

  • You felt calm, grounded, and clear

  • You were back at it: writing, acting, teaching, healing...

Elizabeth Welles is more than a healer. She’s an inspiration. She invoked my creativity, which I feared had seen its day. She empowers, inspires and encourages. Thank you for reminding me, I am an artist.

Elizabeth Welles
Writer, storyteller, and teacher

Hi! I’m best known as Elizabeth Welles (Wendy-Elizabeth Welles Shapiro), a writer, storyteller, and teacher, a lover of the stage and the page, and the author of Journaling for Well-Being & Peace and Women Celebrate: The Gift in Every Moment. I’m also the creator of meditations, courses, workshops, one-woman shows, and art. From childhood and through travels abroad, I’ve seen that creativity and healing are inseparable.

I’ve seen how the relentless inner voice—the one that questions you and quiets you—can hold you back, making you wonder if your story is enough… or worthy of being told. This work is about changing that relationship. It’s about meeting yourself with compassion, loosening the grip of that inner critic, and learning to trust your voice, even if it has long been hidden.

Because your voice isn’t the problem. It’s the way you’ve been conditioned not to trust it. And when that begins to shift, something real opens.

Every voice carries something essential—and yours is no exception. Your creativity is a gift to yourself and to a world in need. Your stories, your vision, your voice all contribute to making life richer, fuller, more beautiful, and alive.

My work is dedicated to love, connection, and peace, celebrating the creative spark in every story, vision, and voice, healing, creating, and inspiring, while touching the heart of humanity.

Elizabeth combines a compassion for people with a true gift for healing that is rare to find.
